Tips and Tricks for Ordering Domino’s Pizza On A Plant Based Diet
First, look for the Garlic!
Before you do anything, try to build a custom pizza and check for “Garlic” as an option available under “Vegetarian Toppings”. I have yet to confirm my suspicion (TODO: ask Domino’s Corporate) but most people in the US will remember the briliant Domino’s ad campaign “We’re Sorry”. The concept was that Domino’s Pizza was so bad, they apologized to the entire country, rethought everything, and most importantly, apologized for how terrible their pizza was. They asked America to try it again. But many people still think its terrible… and why is that?
It’s a Franchise dummy
Well, it’s a franchise…. dummmy. I’m just guessing here, but plenty of franchisees were happy with the business of terrible pizza. For the rest? garlic.
My hunch: Domino’s locations with garlic on the menu are either new, or went through the transformation. If your local neighborhood Domino’s doesn’t have garlic as an option, perpare for a mediocre experience. If it does, prepare for flavor country.

Don’t beleieve me? Check out the Pizza episode of Ugly Delicious on Netflix. Be careful not to fall in love with all of the cheese in this episode. And he’s right… Cheeseless Pizza is not pizza, but it is (Ugly) Delicious
