This is the book that started it all. The nutritarian bible.
Written by Dr. Joel Furhman MD, and often imitated, but never duplicated.
The Dr. Is In (the recording booth)
The audiobook version is great because it sounds like you are sitting in the exam room getting the advice first hand from Dr. Fuhrman himself.
He’s a robot
He does kind of seem a little unhuman at times, but, that helps serve his undying drive to stop his patients from dying from preventable disease.
The PBS “Infomercial”
I’m going to try and track down a link to this. Its short, sweet, and to the point. The sales pitch is to donate to PBS and you’ll get a copy of his diet and other publications. If you have read the book and tried the diet, this program is kind of funny since he’s just so unnatural as a salesperson.
He’s really a bad salesperson
Thats why so many people copy his diet or create derivatives. But in my opinion its ok if you give attribution, and add value. The Jason Diet is a remix of the nutritarian diet, but its really just my personal diet. It’s not something I can sell to you, but I can only share it with you. And if you closed my website right now, and instead gave Dr. Furhman all of your money, I would be happy.
